Font-awesome: Icon request: sport icons

Could be great to have some sport icons (balls, fans).

I second that if it is possible, maybe a collection of Gym icons, man running, swimming, cycling etc

would be dope to have something specific to each sport. Possibly each ball or some iconic prop (football helmet, baseball bat)

Could be used in a huge range of apps: fantasy sports, school / summer camp itineraries, calendars to identify practice / games, trivia categories, interests for social media, off the top of my head

icons for all the major sports would be very handy.

Soccer, Rugby, Golf, Boxing, Gaelic Football/Hurling

I'm making a sports news app with the new AppPresser and this feature would be excellent to help distinguish the various sports from one another. And thanks Font Awesome you're awesome ;)

However, there are too many sports and related activities. Which ones will have to be encoded into an icon!?

+1 Great idea, maybe a 'general' sports icon, because there are indeed too much I guess. Some person that is running for example, would be very useful and is imo also general enough to indicate some 'sport' activity.

We've added our first set of sports icons to Font Awesome in 5.0.6. Here's the full set: https://fontawesome.com/icons?d=gallery&c=sports. 11 of those are a part of Free, and 70 as a part of Pro.
