A Torproject icon would be really nice :).
Some usages:
Exemples:
In a menu:
<a href="">Home</a> | <a href="">About</a> | <span class="fa fa-onion"></span><a href="xyz.onion">Tor</a>
In a text:
Lorem ipsum <a href="xyz.onion">facto link</a><span class="fa fa-onion"></span> sic lipsum
There are probably other uses.

The reason I found this thread is because I want an onion in my status line to indicate whether or not my tor relay is reachable!
I second this, +1!
I would love to have an onion to use on the workspace I launch Tor Browser as I already use other icons as well: https://i.imgur.com/OAKM3Lc.png
+1 please
It'd be great to be able to turn on and off bad breath in web apps. :+1: for an onion icon!

It would be fantastic to have an icon for the Tor Project!
I took the official tor icon and simplified it for 32 px display size. I release the design of this icon into the public domain.

That would be a nice addition, I need this for my website too...
I think this would be a great idea, any updates around that?
Also thanks @YetAnotherMinion, thats a great icon :+1:

I'm using the .svg provided by @YetAnotherMinion, but one limitation of this solution is that on Firefox ESR 68, you cannot use rem
units to define its size. I'm using pixels for now, which doesn't scale with the other (fontawesome) icons.
I use it near a link to the Tor Metrics page that displays the current status of the Tor relay I operate.
