Font-awesome: Icon request: weather icons

Some icons for basic weather conditions would come in handy:

[x] Sun
[x] Moon
[x] Cloud
[x] Snowflake(s)
[ ] Raindrop(s)
[ ] Wind
[x] Lightning (bolt)
[ ] Sun and Cloud
[ ] Moon and Cloud
[ ] Cloud w. Rain
[ ] Cloud w. Snow
[ ] Cloud w. Lightning

There are, of course, quite a few combos beyond these basics, like 'Sun and Cloud w. Rain', but I didn't want to push my luck. ;-)

If anyone is interested, I've made a set of 92 weather icons that are designed for bootstrap and follow the same convention as Font Awesome, meant to mix right in. Has the css or less so there is no setup other than including it in your less imports, or jus the css. I don't think anyone has used these publicly yet so if you like them, let me know: http://erikflowers.github.io/weather-icons/

Heh. v2.0 has a cloud and a bolt now. :) Not sure if I'll do an entire set of weather icons, however.

there are some Unicode Symbols for this:
☼☀☂☔☁⛅☾☽⛄☃
starting at U+2600, but it depends on the font and browser if the symbols are visible

FYI: I've found a nice font icon set dedicated to weather: Meteocons on http://fontello.com/

guess as Meteocons fits perfectly, there is no need to include it in fontawesome

Yeah, I'm not going to be able to replicate all of Meteocons. That's a really nice set. Leaving open in case I change my mind.

I think @erikflowers font http://weathericons.io is the way to go to add those types of icon... It can be another request on your web site or another file to be loaded in your android app, but it has a lot of icons... i mean a LOT!!!

I love font awesome, but some icons that we need take a lot of time to be added to font awesome, so I decided to create an extenssion to make it easy , if you would like to use them , you can download this at https://github.com/AndreLGava/font-awesome-extenssion. +1 on this, https://erikflowers.github.io/weather-icons/ is now no longer actively maintained, font awesome should take go in to take ownership on this.
