Font-awesome: Icon Request: icon-shop (icon-store)
I'm aware that there are both "icon-home" and "icon-shopping-cart" icons, but I think "icon-shop" would also be a nice addition to this pack. Please check the following link for ideas:

@kayintveen: Yup, I as the original poster of this request I have switched to using Icomoon (free edition) long time ago because that way I can compile my own icon library with just icons I really want to use and some of the free packs already have shop icon which was really nice.
I suggest other people to switch to the Icomoon too because if this important icon never made it to FontAwesome in 3 years I highly doubt it ever will. Plus you get other benefits with compiling your own icon pack(s).
PS: I'm not affiliated with Icomoon in any way.

Don't give up on this icon, keep adding your +1's. New icons are added all the time dating back years, this one just seems not to be as poplar as others. If more people want it, I'm sure it will be included.

I love that the newest version still doesn't have an icon like this, for e-commerce sites, but now has like 3 different "shower" icons.

@asdlars, since this has been an open request since Sept. of 2013 and it still hasn't been added, makes me think it will never get added. I needed it "asap" back in 2015, but it never came. I gave up and I had to find an alternative for this one icon :(. It sucks that they haven't added it, so many people have "+1"ed this (102 comments so far), so it certainly has some interest.

@pristinesource This is something FA lacks and maintainers need to be reminded. There are icons for purchases but not for sales. Also it wouldn't be that much work, since there are icons that almost do the job, for example the tag icon could be "extended" to a selling icon just by adding a dollar and a percentage symbol transforming the tag icon into "price tag" and "discount tag", also the shopping cart has a variant with a downward arrow, an alternative with an upward or outward arrow so we have a buyer and seller cart. And I agree it is a shame they haven't added this, but it's never too late (well I guess it is too late, but it's better late than never). Cheers, let's keep asking for this, keep the dream alive :P

Guys, it's painful to watch it, bunch of people asking for a single icon for year. It's 30 min of work after all.
Let's say they're licensed under Good Boy License. If you're enterprise and your lawyers hate broad terms, let's double-license it under MIT.
I've begun a campaign, giving away the top requests for FA icons for free, open source. You can incorporate them in a number of ways: generating another icon font, svg set, or (my preference) compiling all FA and third party icons into a single file.
Previous ones were moderator, discord, coins, Google Play, thin Close, walking man, t-shirt, Facebook messenger and Line icons.
Please let me know if you want me keep going these icon requests, or compile some upgrade file.
