Font-awesome: I don't Dare to use Font-Awesome icon anymore due the Size of font file

I had use Font-Awesome icon from last version that font size still small and everything work okay

Now I come to download new version to update and may use in new website project but shock about font size

Do you want to add all around the world icons to this single font?

Do you think main users want CHINESE company/website icons in the package?

Please SEPARATE other than popular icons to another package so people can choose which set they want to use

Main Font-Awesome icon add only popular icons / international web service / frequency use icons

Chinese/europe/ other than US website icon add to another font package

Currency/Text editor also can add to another package too.

You may add only some popular Currency/Text editor to main package but others add to separate package

Most of user use only web application icons like share, love, like, facebook, google, thumb etc I think more than half of Font-Awesome icons - they will never ever use on their life

Use this and consider changing the demanding tone of your posting in future.

-1 for the split (making multiple http requests should be avoided)
+1 for customization (if needed)
+1 for cdn
+1 for trying to keep the font small (= avoid "minor" brands)

Take also a look at https://github.com/johnsmclay/icnfnt (it's buggy and doesn't support FA 3.2.1 but it's open source so people could contribute)

PS2: 3.2.1 .otf is still 5kb smaller than 1.0 :)
