For better currency support especially in places using the peso currency.
Yes please, thank you!
You're wrong, that not the Peso sign, the classic Peso sign is similar to the Dollar sign ($) with the difference that the Peso sign has 2 vertical lines that represents the Pillars of Hercules. The icon you use as example is used only for the Philippine peso.
@anndresorozco
He is talking about the philippine peso: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippine_peso :)
edit: title edited
@tagliala He said "places using the peso currency", Philippines is not the only country using Peso, but it is the only country using that sign. In my opinion there's not a good reason to implement a sign for a currency that is not widely used.
@anndresorozco, I'm sorry to tell you but your opinion is unfair. How about the yen which only Japan uses, or won which only Korea uses and yet this is implemented?
in my opinion, all currency symbols should be added whether it is only used by one country or by many.

You don't seem to like philippines huh?
There's already a unicode sign ₱ (you can copy paste it actually), but I agree we need a Font Awesome version that is solid.
Kind of like:
https://fontawesome.com/icons/dollar-sign?style=solid
I know our economy isn't doing that well right now, but thats no reason not to make an icon for it. :/
This is available as part of the v6 alpha release: https://fontawesome.com/download
