I say "icon-pip" but it could be "icon-vertical-bar".
In any event, I mean the keystroke that inserts a vertical line, often used between links in the footer (attached an image showing the bar in the middle of two links).
Would be good to have two versions of this: a solid bar; or as vertical row of dots.
Thanks,
Colin
Vertical row of dots is here: http://fontawesome.io/icon/ellipsis-vertical/
I'll consider icon-pipe.
Hello - I would like to second the request for an icon-pipe item. My personal use case would be to complement the angle-left / angle-right as well as chevron-left / chevron-right icons. In that context, the pipe might need to be weighted to fit with the directional set.

Would like to be able to use this in combination with circle-o to represent the IEC 5007 and IEC 5008 Power Symbols.

Similar problem; read this thread and solved simply using fa-layers
:
<span class="fa-layers fa-fw">
<i class="fas fa-lock" data-fa-transform="shrink-4 up-7 left-7"></i>
<i class="fas fa-shield-alt" data-fa-transform="shrink-4 down-7 right-7"></i>
<span class="fa-layers-text" data-fa-transform="grow-10 rotate-45">|</span>
</span>
Ideally, a simple line icon would be fantastic, but a pipe as text works pretty good too.
