I'm working with information about edible and poisonous mushrooms. A skull-icon would make my day!

I would also like such an icon
I curently use glyphicon-skull instead
I could either use something else that would mean to kill (such as a gun or a bomb, see #1327)
I could use times or times-circle but they do not mean enough danger for my purpose

I would love to see a skull, or some sort of skull and cross-bones. This glyphicon is free over at bootstrap. Any chance we can see something like this in the near future? I've seen several similar requests.

No, No skull or skull with bones are added yet. I still hope it will be added soon. Wish I could help out but I dont have the skills. I have been using Glyphish skull and bones icon up til now (in Glyphish 3 set here: http://www.glyphish.com). Wish to get a similar icon in this awesome font awesome soon.

Have you ever seen a bomb icon for poisonous mushrooms in a mushroom guide book? Everything has it's first ;-)

Seriously... What can I do to make this icon become a reality in this awesome font awesome project? I've been dreaming about this icon for almost 3 years now.. And I still have a need for it more than ever.. Does it have a price? I'm willing to go Kickstarter on this request so just let me know how I can help kick in..

It seems the maintainers are more interested in adding corporate and "here-today-gone-tomorrow startup" branding icons. Mostly for brands nobody has ever heard of! That's just my observation/opinion though.

Apparently you have to get 100 people to +1 on an icon request for them to do it.
+1 on skull and crossbones, but not as a general symbol for death.

I need this also, but have been using the character ☠(Entity number ☠) to get the job done.
Although it would be nice if there were a font-awesome icon to use instead - it would probably be better.

Guys, it's painful to watch it, bunch of people asking for a single icon for year. It's 30 min of work after all.
Let's say they're licensed under Good Boy License. If you're enterprise and your lawyers hate broad terms, let's double-license it under MIT.
The skull icon is here and the poison icon is here.
I've begun a campaign, giving away the top requests for FA icons for free, open source. You can incorporate them in a number of ways: generating another icon font, svg set, or (my preference) compiling all FA and third party icons into a single file.
Previous ones were moderator, discord, coins, Google Play, thin Close, walking man, t-shirt, Facebook messenger and Line icons.
Please let me know if you want me keep going these icon requests, or compile some upgrade file.
