Hello, I've just tried latest Retroarch revision with Flycast core on an Intel Celeron N4100 with integrated UHD 600. (Last Intel drivers, Windows 10 64bits)
In Shenmue, the screen is mostly black or dark grey (No issues with OpenGL renderer)
Has anyone else the same as me ?
Intel's Windows Open GL drivers are notoriously bad. Intel's Vulkan drivers are even worse.
I already tried to get it to work on Intel to no avail. Will try again when I get a chance.
Setting the Alpha Sorting core option to Per-strip fixes the issue for me (but may produce graphical glitches).
It seems the Intel driver disables (and fails) the depth test if depth buffer writes are disabled.
Thank you for taking care of this
I implemented a temporary workaround for Intel, which may introduces glitches in per-triangle mode.
if your hardware is fast enough for it, the per-pixel mode shouldn't have any glitch.
