Firefox-ios: FXIOS-115 ⁃ Links opened from other apps always open in Private Browsing Mode

When I open links from other apps in Firefox, they always open in PBM regardless of whether I was last in PBM. I noticed this when clicking a link in an email in Outlook iOS, which I have configured to open links in Firefox.

Device: iPhone 8
Version: 18.1 (15719)

I tested this a bit more. To reproduce:

1. Open PBM and at least one PBM tab.
2. Long-press the tabs icon and select Normal Browsing Mode from the pop-up menu.
3. Open a link from an external app (such as Outlook)
4. Link will open in PBM.

This behaviour will not occur if you switch from PBM to regular browsing by opening up the tab selection screen and pressing the mask icon on the lower left.

I'm still able to reproduce on Version 27.0 (18428) with the same iPhone 8. I've also since switched from Outlook to Fastmail, which can also open links in Firefox, so it's not an Outlook-specific issue. Happy to provide debug info or a screen recording.
