I don't know if it is a bug or feature but when selecting files, I can see the dividing line between items that are not visible in the list view at all.

Maybe don't show the dividing lines or remove them completely?

Maybe just leave it as it is (when it is ment to be this way)

Can you see the dividing lines in the selection? don't know if they shouldn't be visible.

This is how it is meant to be, in fact if you take a look at File Explorer it has the same behavior.

Yes, I agree that it is the same behavior in file explorer.
But what is the reason for that?
Doesn't this look much better to your eyes as well?

Actually, I can't reproduce that it shows the lines in Files UWP, I am not sure why you are seeing it like this.

Maybe because I am using the current Microsoft Store release? 🤔

I can confirm I see the lines on the Store version as well.
