Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It is not very convenient to keep Ferdi updated on Debian-based distributions when you use .deb as an installer. (some people prefer this solution because of better performance and smaller memory requirements in comparison to Flatpaks and AppImages)
Describe the solution you'd like
Add Ferdi to the official Debian repository, it would make it easily available for many users on Debian-based systems. Ferdi would be also visible from GUI-based store, which is very convenient for casual Linux users.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I could be added alternatively to official Ubuntu repositories (maybe it would be easier or maybe there is another reason making whole procedure easier IDK), but it would make Ferdi accessible for a smaller range of distros.
Additional context
Instructions for adding packages can be found here and in this FAQ
It is good, to begin with checking .deb package with lintian and improve packaging.

any chance of this happening? :)
I don't think it would happen any time soon.

Maybe one day someone familiar with packaging javascript apps will fix this package and maybe there would be also someone familiar with adding packages to Debian repositories...
