Ferdi: Ferdi becomes unusable with Password Lock

Bug description:
Beloved Ferdi Becomes unusable the moment you click on password lock on a new install. Uninstalling, removing Registry entries, nothing seems to get Ferdi back. Tried it on two separate Windows 10 PCs. Now, both are strictly Ferdi incapable.

Steps to reproduce:

Go to Settings
Scroll down to password lock
Enable password lock
Experience Purple Screen of Death

Expected behavior
One would expect to be able to enter a password or something. Definitely not for the program to throw up a PSOD!

I ran into this issue just now. Wanted to enable password and immediately everything turn purple without any UI. I couldn't even set a password. I installed the nighly version and now I see the unlock screen but I didn't set a password. I'm locked out. Can I reset the password with some hack (delete a file as with rambox?)

Edit: I found it %appdata%Ferdiconfigsettings.json > "lockingFeatureEnabled": false

happened on 5.5.0. Trying v5.5.1-nightly.13 seems to fix it!

I solved this by uninstalling, manually deleting the Ferdi folder from AppDataRoamingFerdi . After doing this the app starts but the password lock bug still occurs if you enable it

v5.5.1-nightly.13 works, but as I have been locked out without having had the chance to enter a password, I do not have a password and now it does not let me log in.

how to proceed to be able to log in.

even removing ferdi does not help.
