I just thought that it would be lovely if we had some access to a chatting platform like an IRC channel or gitter, and a link to said platform in the documentation

I'm thinking about setting up an official channel there linked to this repo.

But fastapi is taken. What do you think would be a good name?

I discovered it is possible to have the same URL path as in GitHub, and it's also quite common (e.g. hug, isort, gunicorn, etc). So I used that one.

Thanks for the idea @Kurolox ! It clearly was a great idea, there's a very helpful and healthy community growing every day, and the chat has proven to be very useful, making the communications easier and fluid. :tada: :cake:

I'll then close this issue now. But feel free to add more comments or create new issues.
