This would be a great resource for any developer that is new to EventStore or for existing users that require to get other team members up to speed.

Hey @jonnylocke I am the new docs person with Event Store, and videos are in progress! Maybe not Pluralsight right away, but videos are coming :)

@ChrisChinchilla I did not find any material on your site about EventStore.

Please reopen this Issue 🙏 so more people interested on making docs and tutorials find it.

The only thing that makes me second guess using EventStore is that there are no courses in popular websites (Pluralsight, Coursera, Udemy, etc) talking about how to use it, and no YouTubers either.

The name (EventStore) is great but when I Google "eventstore" the last thing that pops up people talking about this project, but many other "how to event store/event sourcing in X tech", don't know if it's because of lack of or this is like naming a database just "SQL". (I'm not criticizing the name, but the SEO is poor to find other people material on EventStore is a very generic term).

Even with such a good official documentation, the lack of other tech people talking about this as they talk about PostgreSQL/Kafka, it's kind of a Red Flag, is people using this? is people learning this? is learning this makes me more employable (as with postgres or other database)? would I find devs that already know EventStore for my company?

Even the official use cases are anonymized, compare this to that of Apache Samza, case studies followed by the companies own blogs/videos testimony of how they use it.

Would be great to see in the spotlight (Readme/oficial docs) good 3rd party documentation, books written by someone else, youtubers, dedicated blogs, companies using this and how (use cases). To make it easy to grasp the knowledge, opinion and depth from multiple perspectives, as with any other OSS.

As I stated above, the only thing making me second guess using this amazing tech is that I see no ecosystem around it (from learners, teachers and companies), call it hype or just a trustworthy feeling when I visit the github project, even though every post I read about EventStore says it's the right choice for the job.

What precisely do you want in a course?

Studying for the Turing test

@gregoryyoung Thanks for replying, I want to see NodeJS/F# examples of how to use EventStore.

I've seen that this Software does have community around it, I just cannot find more material than this list: https://github.com/edgarjrg/eventstore-resource-collection, hope this list helps me get more knowledge about EventStore, and ultimately other people.

Learning other tools I find lots of people making videos/courses about it, giving me perspective, besides the good Event Store official documentation I cannot find more in-depth perspectives, examples and use cases, but maybe is just my own lack of research.

For F# most I have seen are just wrappers around the C# client.

Is there something specific there are a question?
