Etcher: Debian package repo: missing Release file

Created on 26 Feb 2020  路  6Comments  路  Source: balena-io/etcher

I just did a sudo apt update and it gave me this warning message:

$ sudo apt update

...
E: The repository 'https://deb.etcher.io stable Release' no longer has a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

Would you be able to have a look at this?

Thanks!

I'm also having this issue on ubuntu

Duplicate of #3078

I'm not sure it's missing, I think the permission is wrong. See

https://dl.bintray.com/etcher/debian/dists/stable/Release

returns 403 not 404.

Also having this issue on Pop! OS 19.10 when running sudo apt-get update:
Err:19 https://dl.bintray.com/etcher/debian stable Release 403 Forbidden [IP: 52.11.162.82 443]

Working on it, please refer to the other issue #3078 . Closing

Thank you thundron!
