Description:

Especially in old age you notice that the high frequencies on the left or right are less. It would be cool if you could raise these values separately

User flow & interface:
Create two panels to manipulate the settings for left and right.

Yeap it's not the first time this feature has been asked for. At first I thought it would be too niche to implement, but more and more people are asking for it. I can't give any time estimates as to when it will get implemented however. Thanks

I second this request. In my case, my left and right earbuds are independently playing certain frequencies louder or softer than the other, so a simple volume balance control is not sufficient to match the two sides.

This would be a great enhancement! I've been looking for a Mac system audio EQ tool with independent L/R settings, because I have asymmetric high frequency hearing loss, so there's no way for me to get both channels to sound equivalent with a single stereo EQ. I can get decent results with panning and graphic EQ in eqMac, but independent L/R EQ would be awesome.

May I add my voice to this? A month ago, out of the blue, I suffered Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSHL) - it's a largely unexplained event (probably viral - very 2020!) that causes nerve cells to die in one ear, resulting in permanent hearing loss. Apparently it effects thousands of people a year in the US alone across all age groups. I've lost a lot of sensitivity to low frequencies in my left ear as a result, and so an EQ app that would allow me to boost certain frequencies on only the left channel at a system level would be amazing. The fact that others with hearing loss are looking for exactly the same thing suggests there is some demand for this, and it would make quite a profound difference to those of us who love music and are dealing with these kinds of issues. Thanks in advance if such a feature does make the cut!
