Electron-vue: Why there are so many PRs not merged? Who is maintaining it actively?

I do not think the project is dead. The latest comment from @SimulatedGREG is 6 months old.
He told us he was working on a complete rewrite: https://github.com/SimulatedGREG/electron-vue/issues/613

You will see that @nklayman made this upgrade: https://nklayman.github.io/vue-cli-plugin-electron-builder/

In the mean time, I'm pretty sure a big part of the community will be happy to discover a update version of electron-vue patched with the relevant PRs.

At this point in time, that comment is almost 1 year old. The last commit on this project was 7 months ago. What's going on?
