Elasticsearch: Score of named queries

A user would like to know the score that each named query contributed to the final score.

Discussed in FixitFriday. We agreed to do it but it will need documentation to explain potential caveats like the fact that the score of the named query might not have contributed to the final query, eg. for FILTER / MUST_NOT clauses or query wrappers that ignore or modify the score like constant_score or function_score_query.

This would be super helpful for debugging and optimizing scoring.
Can you tell if this is still in focus, as it seems there has not been any progress since opened (1.5 years)?
