@here Folks, this is Tomasz Janczuk, I am the original creator of Edge.js. I'd like to start by apologizing for my lack of responsiveness to questions and issues related to this project in the months past, and the resulting confusion around the status of this project. Life has taken me in directions where I found myself unable to dedicate quality time to Edge.js. I don't foresee this to change any time soon, but I would like to do the right thing for this project and the community around it.
One idea is to transition this Edge.js project into its own organization on Github and pull in people who are willing and capable to carry it forward as maintainers. I would be happy to stay engaged as a "consultant" to help in this transition and any technical decisions that need to be made down the road, as there is a certain amount of historical context around how the stack works. But I don't think I will have cycles to write actual code or otherwise participate in the daily maintenance of the project.
I would love to hear what people think about this idea, whether anyone would be interested in the maintainer or co-maintainer role, or whether folks have other ideas. Please speak out here or PM me.
Hmmm... thanks
And this is the LTS _recommended_ version to install, the one that does not come pre compiled and does not work at all? It must be a joke. Who updates the node.js homepage?
You are confusing the projects.
Node.js is an independent project that has nothing to do with Edge.js.
