Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy. Crash after splash screen.
Note; To get the game starting at all it has to be started with "-4kb" first run. After first run you no longer need -4kb. The crash happens regardless of this argument.

I heard that several times now, what does the option even do? Is it even a DXVK issue or does it happen with wined3d as well?
The -4kb thing I'm not sure about, but it does not seem to be related to the crash I'm actually reporting.
The crash happens after you sit through the intro films and a screen with "click to continue" opens. When you click the screen starts animating then the game closes.
I've added an apitrace now, I believe.
-4kb is a game exe argument to force 4k borderless. There is no other known option right now to force borderless with the game prior to first launch. The game won't run with its default, most likely fullscreen option and will freeze.
We are many Crash Bandicoot players playing it on wine (with and without DXVK), both on Nvidia and AMD GPUs just fine. Your issue is common by the way, but not DXVK related. It'll also happen with wined3d.
Do you use a cracked version of the game? I ask this because of this Reddit topic.
No, this is a legit steam version.
But I guess this issue should be closed since it doesn't seem to be a DXVK problem.
I know it isn't a DXVK problem, but i Fixed it disabling nvapi.dll and nvapi64.dll and setting steam in offline mode.
