Ds4windows: Any way for a non-CS programmer to add translations?

Hi,
I'd like to add a Korean translation to this software.
I'm a web guy and don't have a lot of experience with CS programming. Is there an easy way for me to add a new translation, or are there anyone who can help me extract the strings for translation and integrate the translated strings into the main app?

Finally got back to this. Weblate never got back to me so that won't be an option. It looks like Transifex will be used for now; still a better option than using Google Sheets. Now that media references have been stripped from the main Resources.resx file, my biggest objection with the Transifex exported files no longer applies. Some other minor nitpicks are easily worked around.

The old uploaded resources have been deleted and the newer versions have been uploaded.

It is too bad that I took so long to get around to this problem. Besides working on other problems in DS4Windows, I have spent a lot of time actually using DS4Windows to play games. Currently playing through Fallout: New Vegas. I don't think it would have been too feasible until a few versions ago. KB+M controls handle very well with current DS4Windows.

I think @Ryochan7 will handle the code side of things and just simply ask what stuff means and change it accordingly :)

Grab the following text file:

and open it with a tool like ResxEditor.

When you're done, you should rename your file to something like Strings.kr.resx and send it to Ryochan.

I am still waiting for a response from Weblate about an open source hosting account. Getting a free of cost open source hosting account requires manual review of this project to ensure that it is a true FOSS project. If I had my own VPS then I would probably just host my own instance of the Weblate software.

Update on this issue. Weblate has never gotten back to me. I only have the automated reply from their ticket system in my email.

Transifex was an option that I had looked into and decided would not work out. That was due to how it handled resource files with references to images. With a recent commit, those references have been removed as those references are not used by the current backend code. I still need to remove the old audio file reference though. There were a couple of other minor issues that I had with Transifex but those can be worked around fairly easily.

Once I get DS4Windows 2.0.11 released, I will have to evaluate this issue again.

Hi, in the meantime I translated the .resx file linked above. I'm not sure if this is the right place to attach it, but here it is anyway :P

It looks like there are some missing strings though, like log templates and lots of strings in the profile editor.

Indeed. I had created a French translation a few months ago, but the missing strings prevented me from posting the file.

How new languages are handled in Transifex? Something needs to be added in source code first (language specific resource files) or is a new language established in Transifex and from there a new language (strings or resoures) are imported to the source code?

Just made "Request a new language" process in "DS4Windows App" Transifex project for Finnish language because it was missing from the existing list. Could also make "Swedish" language request but I think I leave it to some Sweden-Swedish speaker because Finland-Swedish is here and there a bit different.

@Ryochan7 Is Transifex still used as a platform to let non-programmers to translate DS4Windows strings? There are more and more questions about missing translations, but having a VisualStudio environment to translate resource files is a bit overkill for some users. Transifex would be great way to keep track of completed/incompeted/missing translations.
