Hey guys, thank you for your great work, I know you must have other highest priority than this on your plate, but I'm going to give my recommendation for the documentation homepage anyway, because it's important for the long run.
The purposefully pixelated images of team members look bad in my humble opinion, it's much better when you hover, so better just use the normal images. People don't have time for this, they just want to quickly have a glance of team members and offer their support.
Wouldn't it be cool is each of you guys just post a bitcoin address instead of those links, in support of Open Source money, the same kind of values that Dokku stands for.
Finally, the footer would maybe look better is the text is centered.
Cheers and keep up the wonderful work!
A few comments:
I'm going to remove the photo section completely. Was nice for a while - there were six active contributors - but at this point I'm realistically the only one active (myself). Will add links to Patreon and OpenCollective to the landing page. Thats where we currently collect donations, so if you'd like to support the project, those are the current preferred links.
Sounds good! Though don't agree with the bitcoin part, tomorrow's landlords and delis may very well accept it my view, especially with lightning network just being launched. I guess the future will be the judge of that hehehe. Thanks and keep up the good work 馃檹馃徎
Reopening until I make the changes necessary :)
If you _really_ want to send bitcoin, you can send it to my wallet address. I'd put it on the site but it's both tacky and will go directly to me getting a BBQ Chicken and Bacon sandwich, so I'd feel really bad.
I'd certainly prefer if folks did a recurring donation to the project though, as then we can buy those sandwiches every month.
