Desktopeditors: Question Rest Api / ODBC / Database conection

Is it possible to connect Spreadsheet to an external data source? (like m$ excel does?)

Wish to get a table / SQL from a database to work with it at Spreadsheet. Perhaps advance to a rest api connector.

I think if this can be done via JS code you can take a look at our macroses (Documentation here), but I personally never do such a thing, so not sure if it possible
