Respectively using the shortcuts while holding the shift-key selects the underlying text.
Version: 4.4 (169)
Yeah, we agree with you, we will fix it, but currently have no ETA, since it need to be done very precisly (cmd and alt button may have impact on input in some cases, so we need time to implement and test it)
Still no update? I'm using OnlyOffice very rarely but each time I start it up and want to do some basic stuff, I get frustrated by the lack of the shortcuts.
I'm about to ditch it and use libreoffice again.
That can't be that hard to implement! And other (electron-based) apps can it do too!?
Yesterday I tried unicode input ... works in every app except Onlyoffice. Still no mac-shortcuts ... I'm really disappointed.
You made me switch back to libreoffice ... :-\
Hello, @mojo2012.
Thanks for your comments. We are realy sorry, but fixing of your problem is still in progress.
I can confirm an error is 36107 in our internal tracker.
Can you describe the problem with Unicode in more detail?
I have another issue. I am using US International w/o deadkeys as input source where Option + Q produces the umlaut 盲. Unfortunately, in ONLYOFFICE, this is the shortcut for the chat panel which makes it impossible to write an 盲. Can you either change the shortcut or even better let the user change the shortcuts?!
Hello, @depressiveRobot.
We think it's two separate problems, so please create new issue.

Done (see #258), thank you for the hint.
This issue is still present. Is there any way I can help to fix this?
