Desktop: Plus buttons broken in 2.3.9

The + buttons to add tags and notes have broken in 2.3.9.

I was previously running 2.3.8 from the appimage and got a notification that there was an update. I see in the terminal that standard-notes-2.3.9-x86_64.AppImage had downloaded. I closed 2.3.8 and launched 2.3.9 AppImage.

On 2.3.9 however, I am unable to click the + buttons to add tags or notes. This makes the app very hard to use!

I have reproduced this by going back to 2.3.8 and note the buttons work again. Upgrading to 2.3.9 breaks the buttons again. This looks related to the new theme / menu bar you're using, perhaps?

As an aside, it was strange that when updated to 2.3.9, the 2.3.8 appimage was deleted from my downloads folder. I guess as part of an upgrade cleanup process. I had to go to the github download page to hunt down a 2.3.8 appimage to re-download to test. Again, upgrading to 2.3.9 broke the buttons, and deleted the file. I'm a little disappointed that the appimage file is deleted without asking me. If upgrades work, that's fine, but when they break, I'm now left with a broken application and the only way to go back is manually download 2.3.8 and never close the app, or else the upgrade will delete again.

Managed to re-download 2.3.8 and got to disable automatic updates in the menu before the 2.3.9 download finished. I think that's a good workaround for now until this bug is fixed.

I'm having the same issue on 2.3.9.

Can confirm. Fix incoming.
