dep works for now. But do we want to stick with it?
This is, of course, the bikesheddiest of bikesheds. I'm planting it here early so we can let it percolate in the background, rather than trying to go at it full tilt later.
being that gophers are hoarders, the name of the tool should clearly be hoard
:+1: hoard. DO IT.
wait wait it gets even better when you click a second link:
Hoarding or caching in animal behavior
it builds caches. HOARDING IS CACHING
omg hoard
more arguments in favor of hoard:

also SEO with filing bugs and "godep" :)
In the long term the name will be "go". The short term name is not too important.
go hoard. ;-)
No, just "go". The point is that there shouldn't be a sub-command with sub-sub-commands. The commands that exist should work better than they do. That's all yet to be figured out, of course, and experience with dep is the first step. But in the long term, the existing go commands should just work better. There may need to be a few new operations, but no grouping or sub-sub-commands.
@rsc that will be "interesting" to pull off.
seems to me like all the more reason to go with hoard in the short term
I'm happy with 'hoard'

cool. i'll whip up a PR that changes relevant references in the code, and then i suppose @adg can probably rename the repo.
