Deltachat-desktop: Switch to left aligned chat messages

Currently the chat messages are left & right aligned which is hard to read in my opinion plus i prefer the telegram way of aligning all messages to the left.

I have no opinion. Aligning left is fine. Unless there is some "delta style" we want to maintain across all applications.

On desktop windows are often quite wide. now at least we have the contact list always there on the left.
Pending other ideas i think left-aligning is better readable -- maybe the x-platform similarity in style
can more be done in how the message-boxes are colored etc. Just my 2ec.

what's maybe a benefit of the left/right splitted thing is that you can more easily find your own/others messages and you normally don't read your own messages again because you know what you wrote or you're specificially searching for it.

i would leave the "own" messages right aligned. i think, it's easier to differ between own/other messages this way.
on mobile, where screen space is limited, this is also a simple way to save some elements (eg. there is no need to show the self-avatar). and i think, mobile and desktop should look similar here.
also, i think left/right bubbles look more like a real conversation, with people sitting on different ends.

it windows get too wide on desktop, it may make sense to allow only a maximal width, so that bubbles of typical size overlap a bit.

agree with @r10s -- it's a good try to limit the width instead of fully going left-aligned or fully-ping-pong
