Deltachat-android: what is the '/patches' folder needed for?

@Boehrsi i assume the folder comes from the very beginning where we had the idea to leave most of the signal code untouched? so that we could just "inject" our stuff?

is the folder still needed?
otherwise i would suggest to remove it from the repo.

Not needed anymore. Removed the folder.
