until such time where a due date will be implemented ( maybe #106 ) , a gantt chart would make little sense . After such eventual implementation of due dates , it can be re-thought of . ( propose to close issue ? )

@michelwend Thanks for the idea. Although i need to think about if it makes sense to include this into deck or if it would be better to solve something like this in a different app.

There has been a recent update to the really nice twproject gantt chart system, see:

would be probably the best solution to add this.

As this sounds like a nice feature, the requests for this are quite low. Currently there are no plans to implement such a feature. Thus I will close this ticket for now. This does not mean we don't want this feature, but it is simply not on our roadmap for the near future. If somebody wants to implement this feature nevertheless we are happy to assist and help out.

If you wish to have this feature implemented by the Nextcloud GmbH there is the option for consulting work on top of your Nextcloud Enterprise subscription to get your features implemented.

FYI @jeobz has been working on some basic gantt chart that uses the deck API. We were discussing about having a separate Nextcloud app for this as a PoC https://github.com/jeobz/NxDeckGantt
