Cxbx-reloaded: Potentially vertex shader-related known issues

Even though HLSL vertex shaders have improved a lot of titles, there's still a few cases that don't render correctly;

Exploding vertices are still visible in :

These issues may or may not be vertex shader related. The rendering pipeline is huge. Some of these issues could be push buffer related or other aspects of rendering.

It’s dangerous to assume that all these issues are shader related without being sure first. Be careful to prevent misinformation

What is the difference between _vertex shader_ and _vertex buffer_? Maybe they're related to each other? There is no other issue that I could find for a popup message that said the game "Failed to create vertex buffer". So I had to add these information below. Maybe a programmer could make that issue.

I found this late August 2019 update for BLiNX 2 where one user stated:

"The game will sometimes crash with the message "Failed to create vertex buffer" shortly after the first challenge begins, seemingly related to whether any patches are enabled."

He has other comments there in the same post, be sure to read them.
There are a couple recent posts from other users in the past month. The latest post this month unfortunately stated that the game had regressed.

I did a basic search at the game compat repo. It found 6 issues that had the search words: "Failed to create vertex buffer". Although, not all of the games in those issues showed the same kind of message - some are really old, and can be ignored for now. Others could be for multiple words found in different locations among an issue's thread.

Actually, I think GitHub could find text inside images via an OCR method (similar to software that scan document PDF files and convert imaged text into typeable text), even when no user actually typed the message in text form in their posts.

If anyone wants to make a new issue for the message called "Failed to create vertex buffer", I made a simple list of games to copy-paste below:
