According to BBC, an update to the NHS equivalent of the CWA to provide check-in functionality / upload of check-in logs has been denied by Apple & Google.
Will CWA's 2.0 Release, which aims to provide a similar feature, be affected too?

NHS COVID-19 app is using a central database from NHS where QR-Codes connected to contact information, this means every ID can connect to a location. The CWA is generating QR-Code decentralized without any server communication or central QR-Code database. This means the submitted IDs cannot connect with location data.
