Cudatext: (Linux Mint) Minimizing CudaText with opened Options Editor freezes the app

Reproduction:

• Open any third app
• Open CudaText
• Open Option Editor
• In app/task bar/panel, click on CudaText to close/minimize it (and display the third app)
• Click again on CudaText in app/task bar/panel to reopen/maximize it
• Options Editor has been disappeared and app has frozen; caret is just blinking.

OS: Mint 20.1

Option Editor window may lay behind the Cud main window. can you move windows to check?

I cannot repro this on Ubuntu 20.04. Cud is opened and Options Editor too.
I right-click OS taskbar (Gnome) and call 'Quit' item. both windows are visible.
after I click X in Option Editor, both are closed.

no items in app bar's popup: close, minimize, maximize. So I guess it is desktop related. Cannot repro on Gnome.

In addition, even when I try to minimize the modal/window by clicking its icon -, the modal/window disappears for ever and CT gets frozen.

• Is - really required? If you try to remove this and its function (if any exists) then, perhaps the problem will disappear, too.
• Does - work in your system?

Usually - is used in windows. I do not see any reason for it to be used in modals, since they never loose focus until they get closed by user.

Ubuntu 20.04 don't show 'minimize' icon for OptEditor.

Made a fix! modal form showing will disable 'minimize' icon. no API needed now. thanks for finding @GHNewbiee

Unfortunately the initial problem exists. After single-clicking twice the CT app in task bar, the modal does not appear again, and, hence I have to kill it.

new idea. show taskbar icons for all plugin dialogs. meybe it will help? beta updated now.

Я резко против. Не нужно делать всем модальным диалогам место в таскбаре! Это нарушает выработанную годами (уже десятилетиями) расстановку.
Только по опции!
