I'm using Windows 10
I'm running Cryptomator in current version:
I want to copy 65 GB in files to a vault. Yet the vault says there wasn't enough space left. On the drive where the Vault is, there are Terabytes available. Where do I set the max size of the vault?
This limitation comes from WebDAV not from cryptomator. It鈥檚 unfortunately limited to 4gb. Cryptomator itself has no limits.
It鈥檚 unfortunately limited to 4gb
this is the limit _per file_.
The total vault size is not limited by WebDAV. But there is a different problem on Windows: Windows assumes, that the available space is equal to the space left on the C: drive, even though the vault is stored on a different drive.
A workaround is to not copy all 65 GB at once, but in several chunks that would fit onto the C: drive.
How do I set another drive than C?
How do I set another drive than C?
You can't. It's a Windows bug. MS just doesn't want to comply with standards, as I have explained here.
I'm closing this issue as duplicate of #80.
