I faced the same issue while working on creating react app and found that it is only present with [email protected], You should have to try using changing the react-script like 2.1.8 as given below:

create-react-app my-app
cd my-app
npm install [email protected]
npm start

Hope it will resolve your issue that you are facing

Same trouble here, but downgrading to [email protected] does not work for me.

so many failing issues with people on Windows :(

thanks guies .. i had resolved my problem its was very simple go to node-module after go to react-scripts folder there will be script folder and there start.js file there mention defalt port no you can change any port no like 5000.
