create-react-app took over an hour.

Today was much worse for me.

npx create-react-app my-app took over an two hour. It kept installing and unistalling the packages.

That sounds like a slow network issues. Yes there are a lot of dependencies and so that will take time to install. If you delete the node_modules folder and run yarn install does it still take a long time? What if you try to install some other dependency-heavy npm package, does that take a long time as well?

Yes, I have checked my network and so far I do not have any major problem with it. I also reinstalled nodejs to get the latest version of npm, still the same.

It take long time to create react app and the dependencies packages are taking long time to install..There is no issues with the network.The issue is,it is showing done in 71.7 sec but it take long time eventhough it is not installed.

Same here with me. It happens on my windows machine but not on my mac.
