Hey there @home-assistant/core, mind taking a look at this issue as its been labeled with a integration (updater) you are listed as a codeowner for? Thanks!

Was this at the same time as a reboot? I wonder if it took some time before your internet came online.

I'm also getting the same errors at startup, happens on a restart and a host reboot. I'm running 106.2/201/3.11 on RPi4 (internet = ethernet, no Wi-Fi). I'm guessing it's related to #31368?

I am also getting this error but only after a reboot since 0.106

Agree with you @schmittx : same messages at restart, host reboot or hardware reboot.

I have the same errors. Happens on restart and host-boot. I have 106.2 and OS 3.11 on a Rpi4

Same issue here. I'm on an old Raspberry Pi 2 Model B and every time I restart, I get all kinds of messages that "Setup of _x_ is taking over 10 seconds." So, it's not a big surprise if the call to fetch update details fails the first time. I would expect it to retry at some interval, though.

Previously, my Updater sensor was unavailable for the first hour after a restart (by design, as I understand), but would work flawlessly after that. For me, this issue started with the change in 0.105.

I'm getting this error as well, its causing some other integrations to slow down during the update. I also believe it was impacting my installs ability to connect to one of my esphome esp8266 chips.

Running Home Assistant in the provided docker container. Running on an up to date Ubuntu 18.04.4 server. Just upgraded to Supervisor 207 and HA Core 106.3.

I just upgraded to 106.4/207, no more errors! I didn鈥檛 see anything in the release notes but somehow it鈥檚 fixed for me now...

Just updated to 0.106.5 and the issue seemed to disappear for me as well. After subsequent restarts, it has resurfaced. Symptoms are exactly the same as before.

The fix will be part of 107.

This is still an issue for me in 0.107. As before, it worked fine when Home Assistant first came up after updating to 0.107, but continues to fail on subsequent restarts.
