Home Assistant release with the issue: 0.99.3
Last working Home Assistant release (if known):n/a
Operating environment (Hass.io/Docker/Windows/etc.):docker
Integration:https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/smartthings/
Description of problem:
I've tried following the instructions and troubleshooting guide from https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/smartthings/ and confirmed everything should work but I get an error "Something went wrong" in red when I try to add the SmartApp to my legacy Smartthings app on my android phone.
When I try and add the app, I see 2 successful POST requests in my nginx logs for the webhook path, nothing in HA's logs with debug for smartthings enabled, and nothing in the Live Logging console for Smartthings.
Additional information:
I'm using nginx reverse-proxy and tried the listed SSL settings in the troubleshooting section but it didn't help.
Hey there @andrewsayre, mind taking a look at this issue as its been labeled with a integration (smartthings) you are listed as a codeowner for? Thanks!
I believe there may be an issue with the Android Classic app -- are you able to try this with an iOS device? If not, let me check in with the ST team and get back to you as there may be a workaround.
@andrewsayre I just tried it with an IOS device and it was successful. Looks like there is an issue Android Classic app.
Issue mitigated.
@andrewsayre I came across this thread which suggested to turn off Wi-Fi before installing the SmartApp in the Android SmartThings application and it worked for me.
Don't ask me why but I figured I would post this here in case anyone else finds this issue.
