Core: Tibber reports wrong values

Home assistant v 0.66.1
Tibber plugin
Shows incorrecr max and min price last 2 days from midnight(maybe all the time, but was awake at theese occasions). Max price looks like its the same as current price at 00:00. I convert max and min price to a percentvalue. 0=min and 100=max. All above 60% etx triggers powersaving. Very bad when i got wrong values.. Last night corrwct price updatet aprox 2am.

Skal oppdatere HA ila kvelden, senest i helga.
Jeg skal ta en titt på githublinken din, men er ennå ikke veldig bevandret i githubverdenen, så må sette meg litt inn i det ser jeg.

This looks fine.

HA shows the current and the historic price (not the future values)
The max/min values should be max/min over the current day

I dont belive this is correct.
Its flawless from 2-4am. Now the sensor is reporting min_price of 0.318 and max_price 0.456. This is correct as of the screenshot from tibber-abb, but the values shown from screenshot 00.12 is not correct. Its not critical, i can just set my automations to not run 00.00-02.00, but the best would be correct update at midnight

I scale this price to a 0-100 value, where min_price is 0, and max_price is 100. I have a RGB strip that shows this value, 0% is green 100% bright and 100 is red 100%, 50% is 50/50 red green etc. 20.04.20018 between 00.00 and 0200 it was 100% red, and of course tibber sensor reporting max_price same as current(even tho the max price reported directly in tibber app was about 20 øre more or so. also weird/wrong min_price. At 02.00 the rgbstrip turned perfectly green and tibber sensor reported correct values…

The same as the latest dev version of HA

I been looking at this now, and realise i have no clue on how to actually perform this update. I will look further into it, but if youve had the time to put me in the right direction id guess that save me a lot of time…

Hello @austadt. Sorry to interfere in this thread, but I would really like to see your HA config regarding showing % of min/max and showing this on a RGB strip. Seems like something I could find neat :)

An update: It seems to be a timezone issue when calculating the min/max values. I hope to make a fix tonight.

How will this update be available for use? Is there som sort of automatic sensor code update or do i manually need to do somethi g?

The last Tibber PR (#13865) is already merged and in the scheduled 0.68 release for 27.04. This fix (timezone issues) will most likely be in the next one, coming in approx. 14 days, so unless you want to run RC (release candidates) of HA, you should probaly wait :)

@Danielhiversen , correct me if I'm wrong :)
