Current behavior:
After upgrading plugin from version 2.6.2 to version 2.7.1 Android build fails.

I expect the build doesn't fail.

There is a good explain in the error log.
Dependency failing: com.google.android.gms:play-services-stats:15.0.1 -> com.google.android.gms:play-services-basement@[
15.0.1], but play-services-basement version was 16.0.1.
I'm sorry but for me that is not a good explanation...
What should I do to change play-services-basement version?
You need to specify the same versions for all plugins
Ok.
Yesterday I tried to install googlemaps plugin with this command:
cordova plugin add cordova-plugin-googlemaps --variable PLAY_SERVICES_VERSION="16.0.0"
but still no success.
The strange thing is that with googlemaps plugin version 2.6.2 everything works, so I imagine to be able to make everything work changing something in googlemaps plugin.
Can you give me a hint to understand where I should intervene please?
All variables into config.xml now.
https://github.com/mapsplugin/cordova-plugin-googlemaps/blob/master/README.md#install-optional-variables-configxml
I could find that the problem is due to phonegap-plugin-push plugin: their latest version conflicts with your latest version, and until now I couldn't find any way to let them coexist, also changing their variable "FCM_VERSION".
Please ask to phonegap-plugin-push plugin developer.
I did it!
The key was installing phonegap-plugin-push plugin this way:
ionic cordova plugin add phonegap-plugin-push --variable FCM_VERSION="17.3.4"
Sorry, I'm only in charged of this plugin. Other plugins are out of my cover. I think you should ask at the ionic forum, not blaming to me.
I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, I was just happy because I found the solution... 馃槈
Thank you for your great plugin!
