Cordova-plugin-firebase: No custom notification sound on Android 8 phones

Hello, i am an ionic app running with firebase plugin.
custom notification sound work on IOS and Android, exept for phone with Android version > 8

Does anyone know this bug ?

I am also facing same issue. Android 8 doesn't play custom sound. It is playing default sound.

I am also facing the same issue. I have Oneplus 5 with Android oreo.

  1. Unable to set a custom notification for Android 8.
  2. Notification not received if the application is killed.(Only in android > 8)

I started using one signal Cordova plugin. It solves my issues.
