It would be great to add message reactions, here the draft:
https://xmpp.org/extensions/inbox/reactions.html

It would be compatible with Movim:
https://nl.movim.eu/?node/pubsub.movim.eu/Movim/fd1921c6-219f-477b-a4be-ebb25e4cccc5

It's also widely used on Discord and usefull in chatgroups for votes for example.

Yes, I have seen this feature request ;-).
At this time, this XEP didn't exist, and genofire talked about this after the topic closure.
So I decided to open a new one.
