Any movement on this? I've tried every way I can think of as a user to make this go. Short of forking the code and writing my own emoji-ability, which sounds daunting and like it would be much faster for someone familiar with the code. ...would be really nice though! I'm getting clobbered by all the Mac devs! Even Linux has it with some doing.

On older systems that don't have color emoji's it could use BMPs but Windows 10 has color emojis in the Segoe UI Emoji font and I'd prefer it to use those if available.
I think we should use PNGs instead of BMPs here
