Conan-center-index: [question] Are packages generated with both clang and libstdc++11 settings?

Created on 11 Mar 2020  路  1Comment  路  Source: conan-io/conan-center-index

Hi,

I recently started using Conan (love it!) and noticed that conan-center packages usually have gcc/libstdc++11 combinations, but not clang/libstdc++11 ones. Since I see this combination mentioned in the docs and recommended in several other places, I was wondering why weren't conan-center packages generated with it?

Thanks!

Hi @aleksa2808 and sorry for the late answer.

I have doubIe-checked this and you are right, we are nto generation packages for Linux clang libstdc++11. I am not sure why that configuration is skipped in our code and I would have to check with the team as I think it is a valid and very used one.

Thanks a lot for the request
