Just use Material 2 with a RC6 Application

What is the use-case or motivation for changing an existing behavior?

Which versions of Angular, Material, OS, browsers are affected?

Is there anything else we should know?

@kara Don't mean to be a bother, but is alpha.8 coming out today?

you can use 2.0.0-alpha.7-12 or wait for https://github.com/angular/material2/pull/1149

Which, by the way, doesn't work when you're using angular-cli@webpack

Closing, as this work is complete in master and will be released with alpha.8.
