Community-committee: CommComm Discussions at Node+JS Interactive – Log

Created on 12 Oct 2018  ·  7Comments  ·  Source: nodejs/community-committee

Some of us are discussing different things we're interested in doing at Node+JS Interactive. Wanted to create an issue where we could log some of the things we've discussed so we don't lose context.

+1 to office hours, I'd be happy to help facilitate or be on hand for that at any point.

I don't feel comfortable closing this until all the discussed items have their own issues. I know @chowdhurian is tracking Community cards in Website Redesign (I owe them a design), but I'm not certain about the others. Would anyone be willing to take on issue creation/updating for them?

@bnb can you share some details about Office Hours?
I just can't remember what we discussed. I think it was about an informal meeting, to sync with everyone? I think @joesepi was also interested.

Once we have some background. I can open a new issue with more details and follow up.

I was mostly thinking of a Twitch / YouTube as a way for people to chat with us should they be interested. You'd definitely need to fill with something when people _aren't_ chatting with us, so that could include triaging issues, updating docs, or even working on Node.js internal projects like automation.

Considering this is nearly a year old with no activity, I am going to close it. The context will remain even if it's closed ❤️
