Colabtools: Using Colab in Juno on iPad

Created on 22 May 2019  路  29Comments  路  Source: googlecolab/colabtools

I have filed a bug report #113 but it seems impossible to use Colab on iPad through browsers.

However, there is now a Jupyter Notebook App "Juno" which can be run on iPad. It supports a few backends, e.g. Azure Notebook. See this screenshot below.

Is it possible to add Colab support to Juno as well? To allow using Colab as a Notebook server. There's someone already doing something similar: JupyterLab connects to Colab

Running Colab on my iPad will be really convenient. Someone might even use iPhone to run Colab anywhere.

The attached ZIP is a recording of what happens when trying to use Juno and Colab. The Juno developer says that he is waiting on feedback from the Colab team to make this work. Please help us out here.

Many thanks

I鈥檇 support this as well. On a side note, ever since iOS 13 Safari has been much better with colab

This would be extremely useful for me too. I have straight up in times of need used Colab on my iPhone in Safari before. It wasn鈥檛 super fun. I would love a better option!

@cyriltw Hi, are you able to copy contents from Colab cell via iOS Safari?

+1 on this. As someone who used Juno from its beta days, I'd love to use the smooth UI on a Colab instance
