Code-settings-sync: Cannot set GitHub token via dialog

Created on 14 Jun 2018  ·  6Comments  ·  Source: shanalikhan/code-settings-sync

Describe the bug
Just installed the extension for the first time, executed the upload command to be asked about the token. It opens the browser, which causes the editor to lose focus which closes the dialog, so you can't progress setting up the extension.

I had to dive into the extensions' code to find out which config file to edit and continue.

NOTE: I haven't checked on the latest stable version (1.24.1), gonna check tomorrow.

Visual Studio Code Version : 1.25.0-insider
Code Settings Sync Version : 2.9.2
Operating System : Windows 10
Occurs On: Upload & Download
Proxy Enabled: No
Gist Id: a979a061fb08a8df4da5f2bd9eaf5059

To Reproduce
Install the extension on a clean install of VSCode (specified version), install the extension and try to executed Upload command.

Expected behavior
Being able to enter the github token.

I'd really be for NOT opening a browser without explicit action from the user.
