Cocoapods: Expected 1.10.0 release date?

Created on 14 Oct 2020  路  1Comment  路  Source: CocoaPods/CocoaPods

Hey! I would like to ask when are you planning to release 1.10.0?

There are PRs for 1.11.0 already merged in to the master, 1.10.0.rc1 is out for a while.

The main reason I'm asking is because 1.10.0 finally fixes warnings and adds Ruby 2.7 compatibility, which is something we are waiting for since spring. 馃槥

Thanks!

PS: From my perspective, releasing smaller changes more often (like Ruby fixes - it could have been part of 1.9.4) the same as for example Fastlane does would be way more beneficial for community and maintainers as well - bug reporting would have less duplicates as a lot of Issues is already fixed but not released yet.

I am planning to ship the final release this week but generally there is never a plan for releases. You can always use Bundler to point to latest master and ensure its locked to a specific SHA.

Going to close for now but thank you so much or asking the question! I will definitely try to get it out this week.
