The work of this has been started in two repositories:
With CocoaPods 0.34.0 shipping with plugin support, this unblocks this feature and will allow its completion.
:+1:
yeah, plus one, I've been thinking of going back to look at this soon.
After updating to 0.34.1 the Pods-Acknowledgements.plist don't seem to be generated anymore. Is this a bug or do we need a plugin now?
EDIT: Found the the file in Pods/Target Support Files/Pods
I'd love for this to be resolved - I'm blocked from upgrading CocoaPods per #2548, waiting on this ticket so I can have an auto-generated acknowledgments file in my settings bundle. CPDAcknowledgements looks promising, but there's no Pod for it...
@joshuatbrown You can use the latest CocoaPods, you will just need to manually update the paths to the resource.
I wouldn't hold off fixing it manually, in the hope that this component would be completed soon, unless you want to put in time yourself to finish it. (Which would be much appreciated, though, this being open-source.)
@kylef what's the status on this?
I think @orta has made some progress.
This works, but I've not moved it into an Artsy app yet, so I can't guarantee working-ness.
This is not addressing #1924, which was closed in preference to this issue.
Maybe having an optional spec.license[:private] bool attribute would allow for filtering out specs that set it?
+1 This would be quite nice to have, assuming it does address #1924 as well. Thanks.
@orta can we close this as being resolved by cococapods-acknowledgements?
